Tom Cruise has dropped his 50 million dollars lawsuit against the publication that claimed that he had "abandoned" his daughter, Suri, after his divorce from Katie Holmes.

Attorneys for the 'Top Gun' star and the Bauer Publishing Company, which publishes U.S. celebrity magazines Life and Style and InTouch Weekly, have agreed to get the lawsuit dismissed, the Mirror reported.

However, it is still unknown if there was an out-of-court settlement in the case, but each side will pay their own costs and attorneys' fees.
