Zac Efron has revealed that he was guided by Tom Cruise, which helped him on his journey from a teen idol to becoming an adult actor.
The former Disney star told the Hollywood Reporter that he won't talk specifically about those conversations but according to him they were pretty candid and common sense driven, News.com.au reported.
The 26-year-old American actor asserted that one has to be aware and he was aware of who one is and what one brought to the table and even more importantly how one was perceived.
Efron said that one really have to take into account what their place is, how they can shape that to what they want it to be in the future and what are the steps to get there.
