Tom Daley decides to boycott FINA Diving World Series

Tom Daley has refused to take part in the FINA Diving World Series in Moscow to mark his protest against Russia's anti-gay laws.

Sources revealed that the Olympic medal winner, who came out as gay in an online video in December, decided to boycott the Russian competition due to their despicable treatment of gay people, the Daily Star reported.

Sources added that he has withdrawn his participation on principle despite the fact it could affect his world ranking, as he is horrified by the country's stance on same-sex couples.
