Tom Hanks recently reenacted a photograph to clear the air about Bill Murray, who is confused with the actor for looking exactly like him in the viral photo.
Laura DiMichele-Ross, a mother, had in 2013 posted on Facebook a photo of Bill Murray making a crying face while posing with her and her sobbing son. The image went viral last month and many people wondered if the man pictured was not Murray, but Hanks, reports E! Online.
The 60-year-old star, who was in London to promote his new movie 'Sully', was asked by the host for his take on the "controversial" picture in an interview on 'The Graham Norton Show'.
"Well, I've been doing a pale imitation of Bill Murray for most of my career," Hanks joked and cleared the confusion saying, "I know that it's not me, because I did not take that picture."
And then, he did, accepting an orange hooded jacket and reenacting the viral Murray photo with fellow guests Gemma Arterton as the mom and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the crying baby.
Now, telling Hanks and Murray apart just got harder.
