A life-size tribute bronze statue of Amy Winehouse has been recently unveiled in Camden, north London.

The event, three years after her death, fell on what would have been British singer's 31st birthday, the BBC reported.

The statue, created by sculptor Scott Eaton, features the, 'first British female who won five Grammys,' with her hand on hip and her trademark beehive hairdo.

Eaton said that the statue was meant to capture 'October Song' artists' attitude and strength, but also give subtle hints of insecurity.

'Back to Black' star's father, Mitch Winehouse, said that she was in love with Camden and it was the place where her fans associated with her.
