Untied States (US) President Donald Trump and Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Friday discussed Qatar dispute.
In a press release, the White House said that "Trump on Friday spoke from Air Force One with Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and discussed recent diplomatic efforts to resolve the dispute with Qatar and underscored the importance of following through on commitments from the Riyadh Summit".
The Anti-Terror Quartet (ATQ) - comprising Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Bahrain - cut ties with Qatar over allegations it funds extremist groups and is allying with Iran. Qatar denies this.
Trump also emphasised the need to cut all funding for terrorism and discredit extremist ideology, said the release.
It further added that King Salman also congratulated Trump on the victory over ISIS in Mosul.
