U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday will sign two executive orders aimed at combating foreign trade abuse which contributes to the country's half-trillion-dollar trade deficit.

The executive orders would initiate assessment of the causes of US' trade deficits with some of its largest trading partners and order stricter enforcement of the country's anti-dumping laws to prevent foreign manufacturers from selling goods at un-reasonable price, reports CNN.

The signing of the orders comes a week ahead of Trump's meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Florida.

According to reports, China is considered the largest source of the US' trade deficit. It has repeatedly expressed its apprehensions against US' anti-dumping laws and Trump has repeatedly accused the country of hurting the U.S. economy through unfair trading practices.

As a result of the executive order, the US' Commerce Department would compile a report tracing its trade deficits with the top trading partners within 90 days.
