Tulisa Contostavlos has denied the charge of supplying drugs, at the Westminster Magistrates' Court.
The 25-year-old singer was arrested after an undercover investigation by the Sun on Sunday, the BBC reported.
The 'N-Dubz' band member is accused of being concerned with the supply of 13.9 grams of cocaine to undercover reporter Mazher Mahmood, sometimes known as the fake sheikh, between 20 and 24 May.
Contostavlos was also forced to disclose her address to the court after her solicitor applied for it to be withheld to prevent unwanted visitors.
