United States Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who is on a 15-day visit to India, met Union Minister of Finance Arun Jaitley here on Friday.
Gabbard had earlier called on Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel and discussed women empowerment and the 'Swacch Bharat' mission with her.
During her Gujarat visit, Gabbard also attended the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) event where she had an interactive session on Indo-US friendship in furtherance of areas of mutual interests.
The Democrat Party leader also met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) director Sudhakar Rao, Mahindra group chairman Anand Mahindra and former Tata group chairman Ratan Tata among others.
