Turkey Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu on Thursday called on External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for a short visit.
During their meeting, the two leaders discussed bilateral issues and various regional matters of common interest, including the current situation in West Asia, the evolving dynamics of the situation in Iraq, and matters related to terrorism.
Swaraj and Cavusoglu also discussed the working out of a schedule of visits for the year, which would include Foreign Office consultations, as well as a full-fledged meeting of the thw two leaders in India.
This is the second meeting between Swaraj and Cavusoglu this year, after the former's visit of Turkey in January.
