Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu have lauded Pakistan for promoting regional peace and counter-terrorism.
According to the Dawn, this was conveyed to Pakistan's visiting Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif.
General Sharif also met Turkey's Defence Minister Vecdi Gonül and vouched for enhancing bilateral defence ties between the two nations.
