Turkman Gate case: Three accused sent to 14 days judicial custody

Three persons arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with the death of a 38-year-old man in a road rage incident in Turkman Gate area have been sent to 14 days judicial custody on Wednesday.

Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi had earlier in the day stated that five people were arrested so far in this case.

Shahnawaz, the deceased was returning home on his motorcycle along with his two children on Sunday, when he was beaten to death after a minor accident in Turkman Gate area.

He was taken to LNJP hospital following the incident, but was declared brought dead.

The locals staged a protested against the police after the incident and alleged inaction in the case.
