Twitter, went offline at about 7 pm on Tuesday. The website then came back online after few minutes; however, one more outage was reported a few minutes later.
"Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing-we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon," the message came up when the users tried to open the website.
As of now, the micro-blogging website seems to have been restored.
According to the Down Detector website, which keeps a track of services when they go down, over 5000 people complained about the breakdown.
