Two men accused of raping a 31-year-old woman from Delhi on the pretext of getting her son admitted to an exclusive school were arrested on Sunday in Gurgaon.
According to the police, the woman who works in a private firm in Gurgaon, knew one of the accused who was her neighbour.
The victim told the police that a few days ago, the known accused had asked her to meet him regarding her son's admission.
According to the victim's statement which is being investigated by the police, the known accused had fixed up her meeting with the second accused who brought her to a hotel room and both of them lured her by promising the admission of her child. During the meet they offered her juice laced with sedatives and later raped her.
"A woman on 15th April had registered a case in the Rohini police station that two men had gang raped her in City Mark Hotel. Then the Delhi Police brought the accused from Rohini police station to Civil Lines police station in Gurgaon and we have arrested them from here. Now further investigation is being carried on,"said Investigation Officer, Ashok Kumar.
A medical examination of the victim was conducted at a civil hospital in Gurgaon. The accused will be produced in a city court on Monday.
