Two Pakistani soldiers have been injured in firing in Jammu and Kashmir's Uri sector.
Heavy machine gun was used for firing on the Indian post. There was, however, no casualty on the Indian side.
The incident took place hours after five Indian soldiers were killed by about 20 heavily-armed Pakistani soldiers and terrorists who crossed the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district.
According to sources, the Pakistan Army's Director General Military Operations (DGMO) Major General Ashfaq Nadeem Ahmed spoke to his Indian counterpart Vinod Bhatia today after the firing incident to calm down the situation at the LoC.
