Two UN peacekeepers killed in Mali suicide attack

Two United Nations peacekeepers have been killed and seven wounded in a suicide attack on Saturday in northern Mali.

According to reports, a truck laden with explosives drove into the UN camp in Ber area in Mali killing the two officers.

There were two soldiers from Burkina Faso serving with the UN and the suicide attacker among the dead.

However, there is no evidence on who was behind the attack as yet.

According to the BBC, the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon had strongly condemned the attack.
