The British High Commissioner James Bevan paid a visit to Union Cabinet Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Kalraj Mishra here on Friday.
After the meeting, Bevan said to ANI, "I just had a very good meeting with the MSME Minister. This is a very important sector for India and it is one that we in Britain also place a lot of importance on. We discussed how it can be developed both here and in the UK and I am very confident that we can have a partnership in this area."
Mishra said that the discussion with Bevan was on the manufacturing level as well.
"Bevan and I talked about the Rail Ministry and how we can develop MSMEs in the industry. We also discussed developing India as a manufacturing country," he said to ANI.
"Bevan said that the present NDA government has a good reputation in the world." Mishra added.
