Unheralded French golfer Alexander Levy has maintained his lead at the 3.2 million-dollar Volvo China Open on Saturday, followed closely by Spaniard Alvaro Quiros at the par-72 Genzon Golf Club in Shenzhen.

World number 282 Levy, who is bidding for a career-first title, sits 16-under par after a solid 70, including a crucial 15-foot putt at the last for par, with his best finish in a tournament so far was third at last year's BMW International Open.

According to Sport24, six-time European Tour title winner Quiros, who has gone down to 240 rank in the world from the world top 50, bogeyed the last at the 7,145-yard-long course to shoot a 68 at the par-72 course for a total of 13-under.

Quiros is one ahead of Finland's Mikko Ilonen and he goes into Sunday's final round three strokes behind Levy.

Meanwhile, the report mentioned that Tommy Fleetwood of England and Spain's Adrian Otaegui are tied fourth on 11-under.

British Ryder Cup veteran Ian Poulter, who incurred a two-shot penalty for an incorrect drop, traded seven birdies with two bogeys for a five-under-par round of 67 to leave him a massive ten shots off the lead.
