More than a dozen were left injured after a bus collided with a truck in Ghurpur police station area in Prayagraj on Monday.
According to one of the injured, the collision took place after a truck on the road was reversing and the bus driver was unable to see it and rammed into the vehicle.
More than 12 people have been injured including the bus driver who is said to have sustained critical injuries. In addition, three policemen onboard the bus also sustained injuries.
The injured were rushed to hospital by the locals. After primary care, the victims were referred to a city hospital.
The bus was on its way from Shankargarh to Prayagraj when the incident occurred.
