A four-year old girl fell into a 25-feet borewell in Nawabganj area of Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur district on Sunday.
"The girl was coming towards her mother when she fell into the borewell. The army and the MLA have come here. The administration is helping to rescue the girl," said a local.
The victim, Khushi, is still stuck inside the borewell, while the army has launched a rescue operation.
"The rescue operation is going on since 8 a.m. in the morning. The borewell is 25-feet deep. We will soon be able to rescue her," Additional District Magistrate Avinash Singh told ANI.
