Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said his government does not get involved in the politics of caste and creed.

Yogi, who was speaking during inauguration of several development projects in Bijnor, also said that the state turned futile under previous regimes as they indulged in politics of religion, caste and nepotism.

"We do not get involved in caste and creed politics. The previous governments could not bring development because they continued to do the politics of religion, caste, and nepotism which made the state futile. But now, no one would be treated differently in Uttar Pradesh," he said.

The Chief Minister inaugurated a latest technology distillery plant worth 54 crores at Nazirabad sugar mill.

Speaking at the event, Yogi said he was dedicating the sugar mill to the farmers.

"We have inaugurated this mill in the interest of farmers. It has a capacity of 3 thousand kilolitres, next year it is going to be able to hold 5 thousand kiloliters. A 27 MW power plant will also be installed here which will provide 24 hours electricity in the Nazibabad and nearby villages," he said.

Yogi also said his government's has launched the 'Skill Development Scheme' to provide employment to 10 lakh youth.

"This government will provide security and success to 22 crore people. Our 'Skill Development Scheme' will provide employment to 10 lakhs youth, who were earlier neglected due to caste-based reservations," he added.

The chief minister also said his government will guarantee the safety of its public but not allow anyone to break the law.

"The Government will guarantee the safety of every person in UP, but no one will be allowed to break the law. Thank you to the entire district for making the Bijnor open-defecation free," Yogi said.
