Uruguayan captain Diego Lugano has reportedly denied the accusations against his teammate Luis Suarez biting Italy's defender Giorgio Chiellini.
To a question regarding the biting incident, Lugano acted unaware of the incident. He said - what incident? The pictures don't show anything, the BBC reported.
Uruguay will be facing Colombia on Saturday, in the last 16 of the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Suarez's lawyer, Alejandro Balbi, believes the player is a victim of a European-based campaign against him.
Balbi added that they are sure that this happened because Suarez was in the incident, and Italy was eliminated, and there is a lot of pressure from England and Italy.
He further added that they are polishing off a defence argument.
