The United States has demanded punishment for Russia-backed separatists who shot down the Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 last year, killing 298 people aboard.
The Washington Times quoted National Security Council spokesperson Ned Price, as saying that Washington fully supports all efforts to bring to justice all those who are responsible for the act.
The Dutch Safety Board had concluded in its final report that the MH17 was downed by a missile fired over eastern Ukraine.
