Tameka Raymond, who was married to Usher till 2009 and has two kids with him, has finally opened up about her feelings on her son's horrific swimming pool mishap.
During an interview with Dan Abrams on Good Morning America, the hair stylist said that she couldn't believe what had happened when she received the call from the singer explaining that their son had almost drowned in his pool, the Mirror reported.
Raymond said that she was furious because she did not how her 5-year-old son could be left under water for nearly three minutes.
Raymond, who lost her eldest son Kile Ishmael in a jet-ski accident in 2012, said that all the emotions she'd experienced previously came rushing back when Usher called her with the news.
Raymond said that she was at a dental appointment when Usher called and since he doesn't call regularly, she immediately jumped up because she knew that the musician had her boys.
She asserted that the call was like reliving Ishmael's accident.
Raymond added that she doesn't blame her former husband for the mishap, but she was just angry that it happened on his watch because her kids have never been injured on her watch.
