Manchester United striker Robin Van Persie is upset with David Moyes for making him play through the pain barrier at the club.
According to Metro.co.uk, Van Persie has been receiving pain-killing injections before matches in recent weeks, with the former Arsenal ace carrying toe and ankle injuries.
He has now demanded showdown talks with Moyes over being forced to play despite being injured, the report said.
It's claimed that Van Persie is worried he may suffer permanent damage to his feet and ankle if he is continually made to play with the injuries, the report added.
The allegations come just days after Moyes was forced to deny that he has fallen out with Van Persie, after the duo were spotted rowing during a United training session, the report further said.
Van Persie, who has struggled to find his best form this season because of the injuries, has been linked with a January move to Real Madrid in light of the apparent fall out with Moyes, according to the report.
It's not yet clear if Van Persie will consider a transfer, but he has demanded a break before United play Arsenal on November 10, especially as he is due to be on international duty after that, the report mentioned.
