Vince Vaughn has joined Colin Farrell in the cast of HBO's crime drama series 'True Detective.'
The network, which had only recently revealed Farrell's involvement in the critically acclaimed show, confirmed via a press release that both, the 'Total Recall' star, 38, and Vaughn,44, would star in the 2nd season of the series, the Verge reported.
While Farrell would play a compromised detective named Ray Velcoro, Vaughn would portray Frank Semyon, a career criminal who's about to lose his empire after the death of a business partner.
Meanwhile, 'The Fast and The Furious' director Justin Lin would helm the first two episodes in the new season.
