He also said that the mineral rich state needs development and the political leadership in the state has only focused on the caste system deeply rooted in the society.
"Bihar is a mineral rich state but the people remained poor because of the leadership which encouraged caste system instead of development. Today, the need of the hour is to encourage development in the mineral rich state," said Satyapal Singh, who was a former Commissioner of Police, Mumbai.
"Modi has always focused on the development of the eastern India and Bihar is a part of it . History has proved that after each and every rally people from Opposition join the BJP,"
In the wide-ranging interview , Satyapal Singh discussed the capture of Naveed,, the Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist earlier this month, Mr Satyapal said that a polygraph or lie detector test will be done as Pakistan may claim that he was forced to admit that he is a Pakistani citizen.
He said : "This polygraph or lie detector test is impersonal and our scientific investigation will bring the truth. Tomorrow Pakistan can claim that he was forced to admit that he is from Pakistan and even it can be used as a defense in the court of law. So this lie detector test and all other tests are necessary.".
Talking of escalating ceasefire violations across LoC, the BJP MP said that he has no objections to conducting a dialogue with Pakistan if it helps in reaching an amicable solution.
"I have no objections with a dialogue with Pakistan. The terror activity which is going across border can surely be curbed Just like our PM visited UAE and the relations have improved between the countries,. Similarly we need dialogue with the neighbouring Pakistan to improve our relations."
With Prime Minister just concluding his UAE trip yesterday the BJP MP said that PM's UAE trip was very successful and a historic one. after 34 years a Prime Minister of India visited the country.
"The joint Press release states that UAE is a country where Osama Bin Laden use to reside and their Government had supported Pakistan. It's an achievement that both the nations have said that they will condemn the nation which supports training camps for terrorissts.
