Former Australian opener Geoff Marsh has vowed that his Western Australia second-team will do their best to give England a 'bloody nose'.
England kick off their tour at the WACA against an inexperienced side while the state's first team play in the Sheffield Shield.
According to the Mirror, however, the coach of the WA team said he believes that after bringing in Queensland batsman Chris Lynn, his side has got enough to give England's players something to think about.
Marsh, who put on 301-0 alongside Mark Taylor on day one at Trent Bridge in 1989, also said that the aim of his team is to put as much pressure on the English players as they can in order to weaken them considerably when they face the main Ashes series.
