Australian opening batsman David Warner believes that 63 will always remain a special score for Australian cricketers as he gave a fitting tribute to late cricketer Phillip Hughes, amassing a blistering 145 off 163 balls against India in the opening day of Adelaide Test.

Warner said that he shed a tear when he reached 63- the score when Hughes was hit on the neck, adding that the score 63 will remain significant for the rest of their career.

Dedicating his ton as a tribute to Hughes, he said that it was tough for him to continue with the momentum when he reached 63, Sport24 reported.

He further said that Hughes would always be in the back of their minds, adding that Test at the SCG would be emotionally tough for everyone as the tragic incident occurred at the SCG.
