Mario Lopez has admitted that he had a one night stand with a mystery "mega pop star," which as per the sources may have been Britney Spears.
In his memoir Just Between Us, the 41-year-old TV host, has revealed that he had hooked up with a pop star in Las Vegas, and during his recent appearance on the Ellen Show, he said the incident may have taken place "6 to 8 eight years ago," Us magazine reported.
It turns out that both Spears and Lopez were single at the time of the hook-up, as Spears had parted ways with husband Kevin Federline in 2006, while Lopez was on a break with then-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff from 2006 to 2008.
Lopez, who also said he has remained "friendly" with the mystery lady, had joined Spears onstage for the opening night of her Vegas residency, Britney: Piece of Me, in December 2013.
