Bellary Corporation Commissioner P G Ramesh on Saturday refuted reports that he was slapped by Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, adding that he was not even touched by the Chief Minister.
"Whatever is being said is 100 percent wrong. I was not slapped by the CM. Hedidn't even touch me. He was just asking the security people to clear the way," Ramesh told media here.
Siddaramaiah was caught on camera reportedly slapping Ballari Corporation Commissioner while avoiding crowd at an event.

Siddaramaiah was in Ballari this afternoon to attend Launch Developmental Works at Municipal College Grounds when the incident occurred.
However, Siddaramaiah later clarified that he did not slap the official.
