Wayne Rooney took to Twitter recently posting in various foreign languages including Spanish, Italian and even Indonesian to mark his 10 million followers count.

The Manchester United ace, 28, was criticized by a few stating that the footballer can ''barely speak English never mind another language,'' the Daily Star reported.

The 28 years old, who has 74 percent followers based outside the UK and his 10million pals make him the most popular British athlete on Twitter, wanted to thank fans for helping him hit the milestone.
