Weeknd croons captivating medley in his first-ever Grammy performance

The Weeknd's maiden 2016 Grammys appearance surely got a good start with a performance of his biggest hits.

Ariana Grande kicked things off, giving an adorable musical introduction to the 25-year-old singer as the third performer of the evening, "Well ladies and gentleman, get ready for the pun of the century...he earned it," reports E! Online.

The 'Acquainted' singer nabbed two awards for 'Best R&B Performance' and 'Best Urban Contemporary Album' at the 58th edition of the event at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 15.

The Weeknd was nominated for five other awards, including 'Record of the Year' for 'I Can't Feel My Face' and 'Album of the Year' for 'Beauty Behind the Madness', but for a solid five minutes it was all eyes on his live performance.
