Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed his goalkeeper David Ospina, who mistakenly dropped a corner into his own net during their Champions League clash with Olympiacos, saying that no goalkeeper is 'mistake free'.

Earlier, Ospina's calamity led Arsenal to their second consecutive defeat as the Greek champions clinched a 3-2 triumph over the former at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Wenger also brushed aside criticism of choosing Ospina over Petr Cech, insisting that this kind of mistake could have happened to Cech as well, the Mirror reported.

Wenger further hit back at his critics, saying that the team selection cannot be done by getting everyone's opinion, adding that he is responsible for his decisions.

With the defeat, Arsenal hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages are hanging by a thread and now will face back-to-back games against formidable group favourites Bayern Munich.
