Every 'Star Wars' fan is aware that Rey's (Daisy Ridley) heritage is still unknown in 'The Force Awakens.'
Recently, Episode VII's director JJ Abrams revealed a key detail about her parents' identity, reports the Independent.
Abrams said that Rey's parents are not in Episode VII so he cannot possibly at this moment tell the audience who they are.
Several theories were generated since the film;s December 2015 release, but the director's comment have shot these theories to sunshine.
However, the 49-year-old filmmaker later clarified his comments and said that what he meant was that Rey doesn't discover them in Episode VII. Not that they may not already be in her world.
