Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, whose upcoming project 'Paani' has been in making for almost 11 years, might now make it with the international producers.
The 69-year-old director has set a deadline of next year for his forthcoming flick and if it does not get released in India by next year, then he will make it with the international producers.
The director said the Indian producers do not feel strongly about the movie's subject which is about water scarcity and therefore he does want to take the risk of making the film with such makers.
The 'Bandit Queen' director added, he is looking for a producer who will not believe in him but in the movie's issue as well.
The upcoming science fiction film will star Sushant Singh Rajput and Ayesha Kapoor in lead roles.
