The first day of the Fiama Di Wills Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week kick started in New Delhi has begun with a bang!

The show started with Aneeth Arora's Pero which saw the entire ramp turned into a beautiful garden with potted plants, colorful flowers and sounds of chirping birds mesmerizing the atmosphere. Models sashayed down the runway in flowy dresses teamed up with flowery head gears.

The next show by Hemant and Nandita saw old fashioned street style on the runway. Designer beautifully accessorized their collection with 70's round sunshades and caps giving their show an edge.

Pallavi Mohan's 'Not so serious' collection revolved around pastels and soft silhouettes.

On the occasion, the designers spoke about their inspirations for their collections.

"We came across a very beautiful Ikat in Istanbul, and we really liked it. So, we thought we will take Ikat as embroidery forward in this fashion week. So, when we were developing the samples it became more beautiful. So, that's how the inspiration became a collection," said designer Nandita.

Pallavi Mohan said her collection was inspired by a girl who is in love with herself, a girl who wants to dream and live life for herself.

The opening day also witnessed the launch of Fiama Di Wills all new jewels shower gel designed by ace fashion designer Masaba Gupta.

Speaking on her association with the brand, Masaba said, "The whole concept was very clear which was given to me by Fiama, and it was gem stones. So, it was meant to be precious and indulgent, and the whole idea, was to take bathing to a whole new level."

The five day long fashion extravaganza will end on October 12.
