'Will and Grace's Debra Messing says gay rights is part of her life mission

Debra Messing of the 'Will and Grace' fame has claimed that supporting LGBT causes has become part of her "life mission".

The 45-year-old actress, who is a staunch advocate for the LGBT community, told the Huffington Post that a teacher whom she lost to HIV/AIDS inspired her to fight for gay rights.

The Emmy Award winner added that she also wants to show the world a community that is not often celebrated or that people don't really know very much about.
