Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said in New Delhi today that the government will spare no effort in bringing the Indian economy back on track.
"As a Finance Minister I will say that it's a challenging time because in past two years there has been a fall in the economic development so we will do our best to bring the economy back on track and win back the investor's confidence," said Jaitley while addressing a Commander's conference in New Delhi.
Currently, the Indian economy is at an all time low and the people are facing the burden of growing inflation especially on the prices of the basic necessities.
Recently, the government had announced that the rail passenger fares would be increased by 14.2 percent and freight rates by 6.5 percent.
