As the date for the creation of new state Telangana approaches, Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) chief K Chandrasekhara Rao on Friday said he would not allow people belonging to the Seemandhra region to work in Telangana offices after he is sworn in as the state's first chief minister.
"Would not let Seemandhra employees to even touch the Telangana Secretariat gate," said Rao.
"Telangana employees should work in the Telangana Secretariat and Andhra employees in Andhra. There should not be any adulteration here," he added.
TRS has won 63 of the 119 Assembly seats in Telangana, securing majority.
Rao has won both an Assembly seat and a Lok Sabha seat. The new state of Telangana will come into existence officially on June 2.
