The nephew of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh, Abhay Singh Sandhu, on Thursday said the government will be approached for declassification of files of all freedom fighters who laid their lives for the sake of the country's independence.
Sandhu said that his family has raised some issues on martyr Bhagat Singh including the naming of the airport and added that the family is looking forward for a meeting with the government over the issue. He also urged that the government should not hide anything behind.
Sandhu's remark comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met family of legendary freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose and assured them of declassification of his files.
