A super-fit woman has run 35 marathons in 35 days, smashing the women's world record of 17 and is now in the middle of an attempt to beat the men's record of 52.
Sports therapist Amy, of Oswestry, Shrops, is also hoping to raise 53,000 pounds for a children's cancer charity through her marathons, The Daily Star reported.
Amy said that whether it gets officially recognised by Guinness as she is a woman, she would have to wait and see.
But, she added that if not who cares because she feel like she is achieving what she set out to do which is raising money for an amazing cause and also inspiring people to get up and active.
Amy is running through a different city each day and is due to finish her epic challenge in Manchester on September 27, the report added.
