Tiger Woods' girlfriend and Olympic downhill racing champ Lindsey Vonn has posted an update on her Facebook page telling fans that she hoped to be back on her skis very soon despite a recent crash.
According to People.com, the 29-year-old, who'd been derailed by a serious knee injury earlier this year, partially tore her right ACL again in the training accident at Copper Mountain.
She wrote that rehab had been going well and she was working as hard as he can to race in Lake Louise in a few weeks.
There was speculation that the injury would also take her out of contention for the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, in February, but Lindsey is determined to compete, the report said.
She added that it was only a temporary setback and nothing could keep her from picking herself back up and continuing to fight for her dreams.
