The world's first test tube burger, which is made from lab-grown 'cultured beef', was served before journalists in London.
The synthetic burger is created by Professor Mark Post and it come with a price tag of whopping 220,000 pounds, the Sky News reported.
The scientist-turned-chef made the most expensive beef burger in history from 20,000 tiny strips of meat grown from cow stem cells.
Professor Post's team at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands conducted experiments which progressed from mouse meat to pork and finally beef - the most environmentally destructive meat.
