Australian Twenty20 skipper George Bailey said Sunday that he was embarrassed by his own performance and described his team's atrocious T20 73-run loss to India as its worst in three years.

Australia was virtually mauled by India in losing its third consecutive game at the Bangladesh tournament.

The Aussies were bundled out for 86, chasing India's total of 7 for 159.

Speaking about his own scores of eight, 12 and four in the World T20, Bailey said it was an inept batting display.

He said Australia could have made better decisions and done things different if they had chances again, news.com.au reports.
