Auditions for 'X Factor's new season have been cancelled after show's producer Simon Cowell's mother Julie passed away.
A spokesman for Syco Entertainment informed that audition that were due to start in Manchester on July 6 will now no longer go ahead and further information will surely be intimated soon, the Mirror reported.
Another source detailed that everyone at the show was devastated for the 55-year-old talent show producer and that's why filming had been stopped for a while.
Julie, who died of a stroke at the age of 89, was close to Cowell and was happy to see him settle down with girlfriend Lauren Silverman with their son Eric.
