An eight-year-old Indian, Ebrahim Shabandri, has won the title of 'Preacher of the Nation' in Dubai after winning a sermon contest during Ramzan Forum.
The contest was a part of the annual Ramzan Forum in Dubai World Trade Centre, reports the Gulf News.
Ibrahim is adept in Arabic language and presentation skills even though Arabic is not his mother tongue.
He delivered a lecture on 'Sins of the Tongue' that won the hearts of the audience.
Ebrahim has a hobby of preaching to his younger siblings that made it easier for him to perform at the forum.
According to reports, the young boy attends religious events keenly and imbibes good oratory skills.
The father said that it was the first time that Ebrahim had taken a part in such a competition.
