Zac Efron will act, as well as produce the upcoming adaptation of John Grisham's novel 'The Associate'.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 26-year-old actor will portray a Yale Law School student, who is blackmailed and forced to work at world's largest law company to spy on their work.
The film will be produced by Efron's Ninja's Runnin Wild banner and Doug Wick and Lucy Fisher's Red Wagon Entertainment.
The thriller novel was originally published in 2009.
