'Vampire Academy' star Zoey Deutch has been cast alongside Zac Efron and Robert De Niro in upcoming comedy 'Dirty Grandpa.'
The Lionsgate project, which would be helmed by Dan Mazer from a screenplay by John Phillips, is being produced by Bill Block, Jason Barrett, Barry Josephson and Michael Simkin, Deadline.com reported.
The QED and Ninjas Running Wild comedy will centre on a road trip, and follow uptight Jason, played by Efron, as he drives to Florida for spring break before his wedding, with his grandfather (De Niro), a foul-mouthed former Army general.
The 20-year-old actress will play Shadia, Efron's love interest and an earthy environmental advocate.
The film is slated to release in August 2016.
