India's biggest personal assistant app Helpchat has partnered with Zomato, the country's leading restaurant discovery and food delivery platform, to make the food ordering experience simpler and faster for consumers.
Through this partnership, Helpchat has integrated Zomato directly into their app. Users are now able to search for, and order food online via Zomato from within the Helpchat app.
Helpchat personalizes the experience for its users, by understanding the user's intent and helps them
in completing the transaction right from the app.
For instance, it will contextually surface the food card besides the Match Score when users intent to order food is very high. Helpchat has passed on over 1,500 orders a day during peak times in June to Zomato.
Food orders on Helpchat powered by Zomato have typically doubled on days when there is an important event like cricket match.
With this partnership, Helpchat has come closer to its objective of being a personal assistant app that will help in fulfilling diverse set of needs for users.
"Through API integrations with leading businesses, we are fulfilling our promise of being the ultimate personal assistant for all our users. Helpchat users can now discover new restaurants, as well as order food based on their preferences using our one-stop app," said CEO and Founder Helpchat, Ankur Singla.
"Going forward, we will be looking at on-boarding many more curated partners to enhance the bouquet of offerings for our customers. These users ordering food have very high cross-category usage pattern as well. We've seen close to 60 percent of them taking cab rides and 80 percent of them doing Recharge on our platform," added Ankur Singla.
On the other hand, SVP Growth Zomato, Pramod Rao said, "We are excited to partner with Helpchat and enable online food ordering on their platform. Our vision is to help users access restaurant information, and convenience services such as online ordering across platforms and channels, and it is great to see the adoption the integration is seeing, through the Helpchat app."
With this partnership Helpchat will be able to anticipate users' food-related needs and will suggest the best places to eat and help them in ordering food based on personal preferences.
